This is like asking "who's the best Beatles cover band?" or "Who's the best Elvis impersonator?" but I'd have to say that all names listed so far count.

I wasn't referring to new talent who recently joined the company. I was talking about any of the ORIGINAL Looney Tunes creative talent who might still happen to be with the company (i.e. a Ringo Starr or a Paul McCartney). Like before the 90's.

Since Norm McCabe is dead, and Tom Ray left, there is no one from the original creative talent group remaining. On the other hand, I was not aware that Warners was still maintaining an animation unit since they were among the first to start laying off in 1992, only to tool up again for a short while and lay off again. Since they are not producing theatrical cartoons regularly, when they do decide to do one, they tool up or hire the services of an existing studio capable of doing the work. That is the last I knew since my existence in Los Angeles. But after being out of the area now for seven months, I am not in touch with what is happening there. But the thread has a double edge to it. It implies that there are great talents currently at Warners meaning "new" talent, not the veterans. Perhaps there is someone else with the inside story and answer to this question.

WB animation only does tv animation at the moment and that outsource for the most part. I wonder why the WB has not decide to open up a new animation unit in the states for new feature films and shorts. Fox has Blue Sky, Disney has Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar, and Sony has Sony animation studios. I know that they failed with "Quest for Camelot" but times have changed a little. Animation is everywhere know a days especially CGI feature films.

Bruce W. Timm, I'd say.
