Yeah, I think pretty much everyone on this board will vote for the 3rd option. And anyone who would even consider voting for the 4th in this poll are the ones who would just register here so that they could say once "You LT freaks suck!" and then run off proud of themselves.

I like both of them.
BUT, I picked the 2nd Golden Collection, because there's a better variety of cartoons and the documentaries are very good.

I loved the first one, but the second volume has so many of my favorites.
Vol. 1 has 15 of my all-time favorites
Vol. 2 has 34 of my all-time favorites

I like 'em both (big surprise huh!). I'm somewhat encouraged that we'll see some of our b&w favorites too! Come on volume 3!

It's a hard question, but I like both.

Strictly speaking of the shorts...
2>1
but when it comes to the extras, 1>2 by a mile.
So now I have to decide what's more important to me, the actual restored cartoons, or the exras.
Cartoons.
Therefore... 2>1.

Well, I ALMOST wanted to select the second volume (for the appealing cartoons and special features which I have yet to see) but the first volume was what "got the ball rolling" if you will and there was a very good selection on the first volume as well... so I like 'em both!

I would've gone with Volume 2 simply for the collection of shorts on the fourth disc alone, but unfortunately the production values left a lot to be desired and with the horrendous menu screens and inclusion of "fluff" extras such as the Bugs Bunny Anniversary Special with David Bowie and friends... I had to pick Volume One. It's still one of my favorite releases of the year for content alone (though I'm not much a fan of the idea of an entire disc dedicated to Coyote and Roadrunner toons... "monotonous isn't it?") but as I've said countless times, I hope Warners puts more care into their overall packaging and production on future volumes. If only these sets would get the same attention that their other catalogue classics such as Casablanca and Gone With The Wind, The Marx Bros, etc. have recieved... these could quite possibly rival the Disney Treasures series.

Of course I like both of them. Sure, each has its pro's and con's, but neither has enough of an advantage to make me prefer it over the other.
