According to IMDB:
Stalling used "Frat" in a whopping 38 cartoons, a record which is beaten by a small margin by "California, Here I Come", which was used in 37.
As far as I know, that's the record for the most times Stalling used a particular song in a cartoon.

Do you know how many times "Shuffle Off To Buffalo" was used?

who doesn't know but figures it would be a lot

Keep in mind that list isn't necessarily 100% accurate. I've had to add soundtrack info to some of the (mostly 1955 onwards) titles, like "I Cover the Waterfront" to "Hoppy Daze" and "Mouse and Garden".

So there could be more instances of "Shuffle off to Buffalo" than listed.

Correction! I forgot to factor in Harry Warren's songs because they were used so frequently I didn't even bother. Upon closer examination, we have a new champeen in "We're In the Money", which Stalling used no less than 39 times!

Yes but those two cartoons were scored by Milt Franklyn, not Stalling.

I understand your point but we're talking about how many times the same tune was used by Stalling, not another composer with access to the same tune.

Meh- I just brought this up for the hell of it. I know IMDB isn't 100% accurate.
