I apologise if this has been mentioned before but I just noticed this now.

Goo Goo Goliath has an early shot of a blackboard with stork arrivals and departures. The arrival board has the names of only two storks: Joe and Bill. (Joe is from Tujunga).

I don't know if this is something Hawley Pratt laid out or Irv Wyner added on his own, but I thought it was cute.

P.S. .. Years ago, I was asked to voice a commercial when I played a stork. So I did my best Mel Blanc drunken stork voice and then had to explain to people why I voiced it that way (except the copywriter, as he told me after that's what he had in mind).

You had to "explain" the performance? Those listening couldn't take it for what it was? Then it was only when they had it explained to them that they got it? Incredible! But then why was it necessary to do a Mel Blanc imitation instead of something orginal? For the most part, that is what Blanc created, allowing for some of the few impersonations that he claimed he never did.

Ohh! Now I get it! Bill (Hanna) & Joe (Barbera)! Those sly dogs... :D

Speaking of Goo Goo Goliath, does anyone here know the reason why Mel Blanc was left out of the voice credits? As a matter of fact, no voice credits are given whatsoever.
