This isn't really on the subject of classic cartoons, more on the subject of, well, lil' ol' me!

I figured that maybe starting a blog about my own cartoon work would generate a little more interest in it and reach people who normally wouldn't know about it. Hence, I announce the debut of the Bill and Buster blog! I will be updating it regularly with comic strips I've drawn with my characters, both recent and older, and I hope it will be a way to let people see my stuff in a new light.

I'm starting it off with 3 entries...An introduction of the major characters and all of the strips I've drawn this year, the complete 2006 "War on Early Christmas" series, and a couple of doodles I did in the margins of a textbook 10 years ago.

I encourage you all to watch and comment on this blog, give your honest critiques on the material, and link it to friends who may be interested. I want to someday turn these characters I've had kicking around in my brain for years into something profitable, and I need all the promotion I can get!

Thanks all, and enjoy!

Because it didn't exist! But I appreciate any daily readers I can get, and I will try to update it as often as I can. I've got about 6 years' worth of gag strips to post, and I'm drawing new ones all the time. If you like what you've seen so far, you ain't seen nothin' yet! (Not that I have an inflated ego about my own work or anything):daffy:

Matthew:

Great work! This stuff is funnier than the funnies in my local paper (who are about to raise their prices 50% and lay off staff, so I know I'll be paying more for less). I like the gags and the drawing.
