Pardon me if this has been mentioned elsewhere, in case it has.
So I'm going through LTGC #6, and I get to "Meet John Doughboy," which I agree is one of the dullest Clampett cartoons, as has been previously stated.
So I get to the Jack Benny joke, which I also agree is the only moment to get a snicker, which has ALSO been previously stated.
BUT, through the magic of DVD, I noticed that as that scene faded to black, a ghostly image of a LIFE magazine cover is visible before the next scene started--in fact, by pausing you can even tell that the logo said WOTTA LIFE--but never materializes.
So, was this an element cut from the cartoon, used elsewhere, or what? If so, what's it doing there?
Little things like that irk me, so I wanted to point it out, to see what everyone else thinks....?
