Even Kittens love 'Rough on Rats'!

I've been busy working on the finishing touches of 'Uncensored Animation from the Van Beuren Studio', in progress for the past year or so- though I'm somewhat hampered by Mason, our new little kitten. He's taken a liking to watching the cartoons as I work on the clean up and edit.... often forcing me out of the way! Here he is attacking a Harry Bailey scene from 'Rough on Rats'!

Aw, what a cute kitten! So young and naive, though. He doesn't yet realize that the cartoon world is a tough place for cats. Felines are usually on the losing end of the stick in most classic animated films. Let him keep his dreams, Steve, and only show him Feilx cartoons.

We had a cat that used to paw at the screen during hockey games. We thought it was trying to stop the puck, but you never know what cats can see.

I had a cat (looked pretty much like the one in the photo) who was mesmerized by the bouncing ball in the Fleischer Screen Song cartoons.:D

Hmmmm... I wish I had more of those goofy redrawn cartoons... that last extra disc did have a bunch of 'em on there- if I'm not mistaken they were from a couple of old Goodtimes home video VHS tapes that were starting to fall apart.....

Uncensored is done! Well, sorta!
