When I saw this Gene Deitch T&J in syndication, it didn't have any kind of voice over. Now it airs on Boomerang, and there is Allen Swift's narration in the beginning and at the end of the cartoon. It's quite minimal.
Most memorable line: "The coffee and the cigarettes are for the cartoonists."
Anyone else have any thoughts about this cartoon?

The syndicated print I saw 15 years ago had Swift's narration. The 'toon did not have much laugh-out-loud humor, but was an unusual and oddly entertaining entry in the series. The music sounded more jazzy than in Deitch's other T&Js, as if Deitch was anticipating the classic jazz that he would use in some of his Nudnik eps.

I didn't like this much but it was one of Deitch's better T&J effort (other being "Dicky Moe")
