What do you all think of DK's line of "Ultimate Visual Guide" books? Many of them have to do with superheroes or science fiction franchises, like Superman, Wonder Woman, Star Wars, and so on, but there are also some on other topics, like Disney and Looney Tunes.

I only own the Disney and Looney Tunes ones, and those books are great (a shortened paperback version of Looney Tunes: The Ultimate Visual Guide comes packaged with Golden Collection Volume 6 when bought at Best Buy).

I don't know if these kinds of books are still being made, but I'd like to see "Ultimate Visual Guides" for the following franchises:
Muppets
Sesame Street
Back to the Future
Rocky and Bullwinkle
Saturday Night Live
SCTV
Happy Days
Peanuts
The Simpsons
Family Guy

I would like to see a Woody Woodpecker and Friends Visual guide or a Flintstones Visual Guide.

I know I'm gonna be alone on this, but a "Pokémon" ultimate visual guide would be great. I always wanted to see a book that studied the anime in-depth from the beginning to the present, complete with production art and behind-the-scenes information. They have a similar book in Japan, but Nintendo of America is bizarrely intent on not letting kids know that the franchise comes from another country, so it's unlikely that anything like this will ever materialize over here.

I think it's better if they have a Dragon Ball, Astro Boy or Gandizer Ultimate Visual Guide than Pokemon but it's just my opinion.

Studying the anime style is still interesting but the main problem is this style was ripped everywhere today especially in US and even in France without being serious. (shows like Oban Star-Racers when i purchased it on DVD was a France-Japan production but take the Anime style much seriously than Marathon does with their Anime influence series)

About the subject, I think they should have a Tom and Jerry Ultimate Visual Guide
