This year I have decided to do this a little differently. Usually the panel of TTTP experts judge the Ugly PD Cover Contest entries. This year, YOU get to vote the winner(s)! Pick your favorite from 7 covers we got this year! Voting will ONLY be open for 3 days! So don't delay!
Have fun! Let the worst cover win!

A tough decision, since so many of them were good. (Or is that bad?)
I think Mike Matai's cover looked the most like an honest to goodness (or badness?) PD cover. Der Captain's was funny, and I sincerely hope he didn't have to ruin his actual Popeye cover for his project.
Ultimately, I went with Brandon Panther's, 'cause it made me laugh the hardest. It shows how clueless to the actual content on their videos many PD companies are.

I choose Bugmser for the Tom and Jerry collections. :D

They were all good (bad?), but I voted for Brandon Panther. It was hilarious!

I'll go with Marty's cover, since his drawing looks crappier (funnier) than the other (and don't worry, that's a good thing).
Second place would be Mike's cover. Two words, SPOT ON. I won't be surprised if that one wins.
But man, great idea here Jon. Too bad I can't vote more than one, since there's some other good ones.

Marty's cover is a little esoteric. It's a jab at the (hopefully) now-defunct PD company Starling Films which used to re-title the cartoons, and even mess up the titles (not to mention an unforvieable edit in Hametuer Night). But all the same his cover was very funny.
But, I voted for Der Captain's. There's just so much about that cover that screams false-advertisement, a major problem with many PD companies.
Mike's is good too. Donald looks like he got his ass handed to him by someone. The "Malton-Approved" sticky is a nice touch.
EDIT: wait.... are people who took part in the contest allowed to vote?

I voted for Brandon Panther's, basically for the same reason J.J. Hunsecker voted for it (hey, it wouldn't be fair if I voted for my own entry now, would it? :shame:).

Brandon's hands-down, I think it is a great piece of irony.

Chronological Donald seems the most genuine.
Some of the others seem too deliberate in their badness.
Still, kudos to all who put in an effort. I've wanted to give one of these ugly cover contests a go
but haven't been able to get my rear in gear.

Yes, everyone is allowed to vote.
I am glad this thread has got such a response!

Wow. Good job everyone.
I have to go with Brandon's. Not only does it really look like a pd dvd, the fact that it has "Education for Death" on it made me laugh the most. Such a bleak, depressing film being passed off as a laugh-inducing mood-lifter is just too darn funny to me.

Fear not. My original is unscathed. However if fate ever dared to hand me a "Baby Looney Toons" DVD I would be defacing it faster than you can say "Daffy Doodles"!

I don't know if the company's still in business, but the website is still up (disclaimer: I don't think it's been updated in years). Check it out for some great Public Domain Goodness  : StarlingFilmsDVD (http://www.starlingfilmsdvd.com/prod/RestorationProcess.asp)
Oh, and Hamateur Night (I'm sorry, "Ham Nite") is still on DailyMotion. Wait until you see the "edit" during the Romeo And Juliet scene: Dailymotion - Ham Nite, a video from vondrake. (http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1368w_ham-nite)
