I was at the DVD store yesterday evening and came accross this classy gift set packaged in a thick, heavy cardboard box with graphics of Huckleberry Hound, Top Cat, Magilla, etc.embossed on the front and what appeared to be a brass plated plaque fixed onto the cover beside the latch with numbering / 1000.

I believe the contents were as follows:

The Huckleberry Hound Show
Top Cat
Magilla Gorilla
Wacky Races
Dastardly & Mutley In Their Flying Machines
The Perils Of Penelope Pitstop
Hong Kong Phooey

I'm not sure why The Yogi Bear Show was left out, but it seems to be everything minus the Flintstones (and spin-off) series, Jetsons, Scooby-Doo and superhero stuff (Jonny Quest, Spaceghost, Birdman). Unfortunately, retail price was something like $224 CAD. I'm still considering a purchase, there were only two boxes in stock when I passed by.

As I mentioned last year, there were also similar Looney Tunes numbered gift sets collecting the first 5 Golden Collection releases in the series. I'm not sure why WHV didn't wait to release the set this year when they could have compiled a complete collection making it more appealing to their intended target market?

If I end up purchasing the Hanna Barbera set this week, I'll take some photos and post them on GAC. I haven't been able to find any information about these gift sets online, anywhere!

I saw a set last year around Christmas that featured The Flintstones, Yogi Bear and The Jetsons that was called a Hanna-Barbera Retro Set.
I think it was selling for around $150?
