Background:
There was a Hosted movie show on WJW-TV 8 in Cleveland Ohio on Friday/Saturday nights from 1966-2007 called Hoolihan and Big Chuck till 1979, then Big Chuck and Little John from 1979-2007 (same show, just a co-host change)..A Major part of this show was silly skits done by the hosts and a repertory company of Channel 8 employees and other actors, as well as occassional national guest stars, who would appear in these skits, spoofing movies, TV, commercials, music, etc...
One of the earliest of these recurring skits was the host, Chuck Schodowski and local musician Tony Carmen as "The Kielbasy Kid" and his "faithful indian sidekick" Keshka with "King The Wonder Dog", a takeoff on the Lone Ranger....(The names being a play on Cleveland's Polish heritage)..Here's a short clip of the "Kid" with CBS Star Buddy Ebsen..

John Thornberg was an illustrator, doing artwork cards for the show as commercial bumpers ("More to Come", etc.) Here he has created a 2008 update of "The Kielbasy Kid"
I think he kind of does a nice job here. This could actually be animated, if He wanted to do it..

I mainly wouild like an opinion on the artwork itself..Thanks..
