The Inspector, Vol 2 is out in Germany

I was in a store today and saw some new DVDs : Both the Inspector Vol 1 and 2 as well as the Ant and the Aardvark (german title, Die blaue Elise (http://www.amazon.de/rosarote-Panther-Die-blaue-Elise/dp/B001AZ561M/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1219241215&sr=1-2)). I looked at Amazon.com and did not find anything new. I must assume the 2nd Inspector volume will be released soo in the US. On Amazon.de the search is "Rosarote Panther".

I am going to bet we'll see The Inspector, Vol. 2 DVD in the USA in time to tie-in with the upcoming Steve Martin Pink Panther sequel which is being released in Feb. 2009. :thinkpink

All of the remaining unreleased (in America) Inspector titles are available on iTunes, so yes, they probably will be released to DVD soon.

I figured that some time next year the next Pink Panther and Friends volume-most logically Volume 2 of the Inspector would come out. That will be neat as there are a few cartoons that I have never seen. I'm still hoping that afterwards either Roland and Rattfink or Tijuana Toads will be released next.

I get fed up waiting for things to come out on DVD. I picked up off air copies of Vol 1 and 2 of The Inspector a while back. Very funny.
