Very OT: Get Smart

I've got a feeling there are other people on the TTTP besides me who are fans of not just classic cartoons, but classic TV as well. So, I'm posting this to encourage everyone here to go see the Get Smart movie. I just saw it last night and really enjoyed it. Don't go in there expecting a carbon-copy of the show. But it's a fun action comedy with a lot of stuff thrown in for fans of the show. I understand it's been getting some bad reviews (I've been trying to avoid them), and that disappoints me. Because really, it's a fun, enjoyable movie, and I think a lot of people here would enjoy it.

I liked the movie. If was like if you had to adapt "Get Smart" to 2008's audience, the result would look like the movie. You had Steve Carell being Steve Carell, Anne Hathaway being a SMOKING hot 99, The Rock exuding his charisma like he always does, and Alan Arkin being silly :p . I must say, for the shortness of laughs this movie had, it made up in explosions. And the guy known as Great Khali in WWE darn near stole the movie!

A Green Acres movie would do well, I think.

I dunno, haven't really seen a classic T.V. show remade as a good movie besides "The Fugitive", but I'll give it a shot based on the recommendations.
