Who remembers the Fats Waller song "Flatfoot Floogie"? Its title has been spoofed twice (AFAIK). It was referred to as "Flatfoot Flooji" in You're an Education (1938) and as Porky's annoying dog (Flatfoot Flookey) in Porky's Tire Trouble (1939).

It also was referred to as "Flatfoot Flanigan with a Floy Floy" (officer Flanigan) in the opening scene of Thugs with Dirty Mugs (1939) just after the titles.

But the song had been used in:
*You're an Education (1938) (during the so-called "Flatfoot Flooji" scene)
*Daffy Duck in Hollywood (1938) (during the lion scene where you hear the comment "Motion pictures are your best... entertainment!")
*Hollywood Steps Out (1941) (during Johnny Weismuller's Tarzan scene)
*Gorilla My Dreams (1948) (during the "Bingzi-Bangzi" scene where we see various gorilla families with their children)

and as Porky's annoying dog (Flatfoot Flookey) in Porky's Tire Trouble (1939).

Is my memory faulty, or did the Korean redrawn change the name to "Flatfoot Flooker"?

I'm allowing for faulty memory here, so don't chide me if I'm wrong.

Great song! Love it!!

But it's a Slim Gaillard song, although Fats did cover it. Other over-the-top Slim greats are Vout Oreenee, Ding Dong Oreeney and Groove Juice Special.

It's also referenced/paraphrased in "All's Fair at the Fair" (Fleischer Color Classic, 1938), during the scene in which Elmer is brushing up his dancing technique.

The Fleischers also referenced it in "A Date to Skate", when Popeye tries to find out what size roller skates Olive wears.
