Since they no longer show it on TV, or any Looney Tunes for that matter, it'd be cool if we made our own marathon.
No particular structure is required, just feel free to include any tidbits to any posted cartoon if necessary.
Starting off:
Hare Tonic (http://youtube.com/watch?v=lFaeI12_4bc) (Chuck Jones, November 10, 1945)

Punk. You got my hopes all up with that post. I need to get the guts up to post the real live story of how June Bugs got me through a rough time one year. It's as corny as it sounds but also just as real.

I'm sooooooo bored and was coming to post it regardless, Vdubdavid, no lie. It's been exactly 4 years since I hit ROCK BOTTOM in my life. That would explain my absence from here (toonzone at that point) for what was between 1 and 2 years.
My family and I are pecan buyers and growers. In a word, we're farmers. The help we keep aren't exactly Harvard graduates. Some of them are serious washouts, actually. This one dude who seemed ok worked for us like anyone else but ultimately landed my Dad in jail. See, my Dad smokes a little weed. I hate it and my Dad and me have issues because of it but if I made a list of all the problems in the world, weed would be toward the bottom of that list in all seriousness. He smoked a little too and him and Dad got high some. He wanted my Dad to sell him some but he wouldn't because he smokes weed in his own house on him own time, nothing more and nothing less. He's no drug dealer, he doesn't sell it. Well, the dude hounded Dad and hounded him about it until Dad cussed him out when he called during a special dinner that he took my Mom to. The next day, Dad went to jail when they raided the place. They found very little weed. The big deal was the triple beam balance scales that they found that are used for weighing shelled pecans. They twisted it all around and said they were used for selling dope. In the end, it was like my Dad, who always was the best father despite all of this btw, went to jail for refusing to sell dope.
Throughout all of this, I ran around with the guy's daughter. I didn't stand for the stunt he pulled obviously and let him and his daughter (my girlfriend by then) know about it. Before it was over, I went to jail too. The girl was trouble regardless of the deal with our Dad's. She cheated on me and I punked out all the guys. I also went round and round with her Dad. HE started that one and actually jumped on me with a knife. He got away with it though and I got charged there too because he was pretty much your "nark" who could do what he wanted, just like in the dang movies.
It finally came to my crash and burn when she cheated on me again. I confronted her about it like never before and she beat me up. I didn't hit back because I knew I'd go UNDER the jail if I messed her up. I called the police, thinking that surely I would fry for this one. She bloodied my face and didn't have a scratch on her. The police got there, she eeked out a fake tear, and off I went. I was already on probation for the previous fights so it appeared as though I was in for some serious time in the pen. Before it was over, I did get to tell my story and courts noted that I got the raw end of some things. I did my own share of damage. I should have ditched the girl way before all of this but I was a 21 year old fool who wouldn't, just because everyone kept telling me to. That's nothing a guy should go to jail for though because all young males go through trouble with young females...
Anyway, I walked into my parent's house the first day out of jail to only my sister. My mom fled for a while to her sister's in the heat of everything and my Dad was still in jail (we're all out now and it's long behind us btw). My sister had to go out of town thanks to plans that were set in motion way before all of this so the first morning that I woke up in my parent's house in over a year (was renting with the girl) was really, really wierd. I was alone in a house that was definitely home, but kinda wierd, all things considered. I got up and turned on the TV and there was Bugs Bunny. That was the final June Bugs weekend, I'm pretty sure. It was awesome though. I watched it all weekend in that house by myself. Bugs Bunny made me laugh for the first time in forever and in a strange, cheesy way, he was proof that everything was going to be ok :bugs2:

Wow, just wow. What happened to you was awful. :( It just goes to show that even in the darkest of times, our favorite things can uplift us.

I couldn't find a working link to this bad boy but I chose this one because Bug's last line in this one is fitting when you consider my frame of mind after that story :bugs2:

This cartoon really needs a Cartoon Discussion Of The Week IMO, since there's so much that can be said about it. Matthew, would you ever so kindly oblige please?

You mean, like, the first two or three seconds of it? Overshadows the rest...

Obviously, I'm referring both to the cartoon itself and the technical aspects of it. And I don't necessarily mean it in a positive way, either.
