Garbo was turned into a toon several times....and we added pics and infos other fans sendto us, to a section we created as a tribute to all her toons. you can see here:
http://www.garboforever.com/Garbo_Cartoons.htm
Anyway, my questions are....
Does anyone have caps from the Garbo toon Malibu Beach Party (USA 1940) and Speaking of the Weather (USA 1937) for me? We can't find any...:befuddled
you would make Garbo's fans very happy ;-)

Imagine a modern, Gallery Of The Absurd-tinged version of Hollywood Steps Out, with Paris Hilton playing the Garbo-bigfoot role (of course, when she gets the match-in-foot treatment, she'd say "that's hot")

You should be able to get the Garbo images from "Speaking" off of Vol. 3 of the Looney Tunes Golden Collection, which unfortunaely, I don't have down here at the office right now.
Garbo appears on LTGC Vol. 5 in "I've Got to Sing a Torch Song" from 1933 (looking a lot like Garbo from her '31 appearance with Mickey), if you want to add screen grabs from that cartoon to your webpage (and just as a trivia note, Greta also had the honor of being the first one to use the "That's all, Folks!" sign-off on a Merrie Melodie at the close of that cartoon).

Not sure that this would count, as this is merely a reference and not an actual appearance, but here goes:
In You Ought to Be in Pictures, after :ham: beats up :daffy: after returning to the studio, Daffy attempts to get him to leave the studio yet again (though I can't remember the dialogue exactly):
:daffy:: I have another offer for you Porky, starring alongside Greta...
(:ham: pitches tomato into :daffy:'s face)
:daffy::...Garbo.
(end cartoon and iris-outs on :daffy:)
Hope this helps!

And, lest we forget, cartoon Garbo's place in history (however disputed the details may be)

Good call on that one. That cartoon is sheer brilliance from first frame to last, a real enjoyable B/W LT!

Malibu Beach Party is available on The Golden Age of Looney Tunes vol. 4 laserdisc. It's on disc side 5, labeled "Radio Daze".
Thanks again to all who helped.
Here is our final result:

its ... Scrappy's Added Attraction (USA 1939) or I want to be an actress (USA 1937).Look closely at the screengrab. That's a TCM logo in the corner.
In which country does TCM broadcast Columbia cartoons, particularly what would seem to be a remastered Scrappy short? Here in the States, Animania HD has the license, but no BW shorts are shown that I'm aware of.
I made the caps from a GRETA GARBO TCM documentary. They just showed three little sequenzes of her as an animated character.:tweety:
