Is there any video anywhere on the Web of Norman's Normal? There's talk around here that it might just be part of Looney Tunes volume 6. Jerry Beck said he wanted to put it on 6 with possibly commentary by Paul Stookey. I know Jerry was talking with Stookey because Stookey admitted as much to Matthew Hunter, I believe. Anyone know where I can find Normans Normal on the web?

Well, apart from the cartoon itself on Matthew Hunter's Misce-Looney-ous blog, no where else that I know of.

Very unique cartoon. I'd say it's worth DVD release. It should be one of the featured shorts properly restored, though, not added as a bonus. The bonus 'toons on LTGCs don't come out so well. In fact, I now call for a DVD re-release of Sinkin In The Bathtub and It's Got Me Again from their original negs and not those "dubbed" TV prints. Who's with me on this?

I totally agree. Though it is a late 1960's WB effort (which are most DEFINITELY frowned upon), it's pretty decent for its' time period and should be discovered by more audiences if only for its' uniqueness. The DVD audio commentary by Noel Paul Stookey would be pretty neat too. Also, first time an Alex Lovy-directed cartoon would appear on DVD outside the Universal Walter Lantz releases. :D ;)
