Semi-OT: Kali Fontecchio -- not bad at all!!

Who here doesn't know who Kali Fontecchio is? For those who don't know, she is the obnoxious little girl who just sits there and giggles during a John K./Eddie Fitzgerald DVD audio commentary. She may be a nuisance during audio commentaries, but man, can she draw! http://kalikazoo.blogspot.com/

It seems a little bit like she was influenced by John K's Spumco, but really she has her own great style. I can really see her cartoons going somewhere!

I agree. She draws very well and had a great potential for the arts.

Sure, her comments is a bit obnoxious but we don't always take commentaries too seriously. ;)

I'm sorry about going off-topic again, but that one Anonymous contributor's remark about people liking Friz Freleng, Disney, and Tom and Jerry cartoon was very insulting and uncalled for. I hope that guy dosen't join this fourm.:ysam:

I guess I'm the first to label Kali as John's protege (http://kalikazoo.blogspot.com/2008/01/my-visceral-reaction-to-baby-bottleneck.html).

Yet, she barely has any professional affiliations to speak of. Hopefully, when her time comes, she has better luck than the other artists who abandoned the Spumco Express.

Hey, Nick, I think that guy was just being sarcastic to make a point. I don't think he meant it.

As for Kali, I think she's a fine artist. I have no definite information about her "relationship" with Johnny boy. Although I do have her as a friend on Facebook and saw what she put as her "religious views". ;)

Even if I agree with Thad's post with all my heart I guess it's better to close this thread. It started as a "tribute" to Kali's drawings, but I know It is/ it'll slowly (slowly?) degenerating/degenerate into a series of gags (and I'll even end to like some of them) or insults.
Back to classic cartoons guys!
