I would just like to wish all of our Jewish members on this forum a happy Passover. For those who don't know, Passover, or Pesach, is one of the most sacred holidays on the Hebrew calender.
We celebrate by attending two very nice dinner parties called "Seders", and we tell the story of Pesach. We also celebrate by not eating anything that was leavened, for the whole eight days.
I hope all the Jews had a great Seder (I know I did), and next year in Jerusalem!;)

Thank you, and a Zissen Pesach to all! We had so much left over food it was like a third Seder night tonight. The only problem is today is my birthday, so as often happens when the Jewish calendar placement of Pesach coincides with my birthday I have no birthday cake or dinner. This used to annoy me to no end when I was a kid.

Now if I can just get all the matzo crumbs off my clothes!

A chag Pesach sameach, a happy Passover to all.

Mark J: We have the same affliction in our family; my mother-in-law's Hebrew birthday is the night of second seder. She's never had an edible birthday cake :)

Passover, like all major Jewish holidays, follows a simple theme:

They tried to kill us
We won
LET'S EAT
