This questions has zero to do with cartoons, as does the reason I ask. It's perfect for the minds of animation fans though. I know someone will remember the answer though, because we remember such things.
There was this commercial where innercity (black) folks stood around an innercity basketball court. The narrator said, "To play this game, you gotta have the friends, the desire, the love, and most importantly, you gotta have the ball." As he said the bit about the ball, everyone got confused and a comedy relief tome took over the commercial and they advertised the shoes or the drink or whatever it was they were pushing. Does anyone remember this? A youtube link, or any additional info, would be appreciated!
