Having not seen "Robot Rabbit" for a long time, I came across it on YouTube today and was surprised to hear the line "Aftew adjusting matwix, insert iwwustwation of pest you want contwowwed into slot marked B." Arthur Q. Bryan clearly says "SLOT", and not "swot", as would be consistent with Elmer's speech impediment. How d'ya suppose such a blatant mistake went through?:befuddled

I've seen several continuity goofs like that in classic cartoons. For example, in Mutiny On The Bunny, Bugs says "trip around the world." When, with his New York accent, he should really be saying "trip around the woild."

I've read in some places that Bryan would make the have to adjust Elmer's speech sometimes so it would make sense while speaking, if Fudd's or Bugs' accent was on almost every woid, some would haff a hawd time undewstanding dem.:D
