since reading John K's blog about "The Hep Cat" I've finally learned the name of one of my favorite Looney Tunes characters...

is this the same dog from all the following cartoons?: (from BCDB.com)

"Of Fox & Hounds" 1940
"The Heckling Hare" 1941
"The Crackpot Quail" 1941
"The Hep Cat" 1942

isn't he also in:

"Hare Ribbin'" 1944
"An Itch In Time" 1943 (my personal favorite of his shorts)

Although the design is similar, I don't think those dogs are Willoughby. The personalities are different. The Dog in Hare Ribbin' is based on the "Mad Russian" from The Eddie Cantor Radio Show.
