At least it's mostly a mix of cartoons already available on Disney Treasures DVDs (They could've made the Donald DVD decent if they included DECENT post-1945 cartoons).

But at least the Chip n' Dale disc sounds good, I'll probably be picking that one up.

I think I'll have to pick up the goofy disc here (I missed wave 2 of the treasure, well I only got wave 1 because they we're released to region 2). "Fathers Day Off" is one of my all time Disney favourites.

I wonder whether the shorts will be edited, would any need it?

Points off the Chip and Dale Set for Not including Up a Tree, Chips Ahoy!, or the Lone Chipmunks. And, The Donald Set should have included Trombone Trouble or Frank Duck Brings Him Back ALive.

Now, If Disney Were to Release a Mickey DVD with the Configuration of the Life With Mickey VHS (Mickey's Circus, Plus Shanghaied, Mickey's Polo Team, Alpine Climbers, Mickey Down Under, and R'Coon Dawg), i'd buy it in a second

Also, I've noticed that Warner has released a Looney Tunes DVd with 30 Cartoons for $27, While Disney Is charagin $15 For not even HALF of that. Which is a better deal for the guy with a budget?

I guess someone at Disney finally realized there's a casual market for its classic animated shorts.

"Three for Breakfast" ends with Donald looking Chinese.

Later Disney Channel showings of "Two Chips and a Miss" edited the mothballs-in-the-candy-box scene; I don't know about the House of Mouse version.

Yup, HOUSE OF MOUSE cut out the mothballs scene, as well as Chip looking into a mirror and a voice saying "You gay dog, you..."

Nothing interesting here for me. While many of those cartoons are good, They seem to have been released/re-released on home video to death. Just give me the Treasures sets any day.:mickey: :minnie: :donald: :goof:

Also on that episode the scene in UP A TREE was edited so we don't see Donald's house exploding and exploding into the sky, but this short isn't on the DVD. I'm not too bothered about these DVDs - I'll wait for the Treasures.

The Cartoons, unfortunately, probably iwll be edited, As Leonard MAltin has to vouch to Disney in order to get uncut 'toons on the Treasures (with intros).

How assurate that all are edited in this DVD?
