My husbands step father works for this radio station and it is about to be sold.
I have only recently found out there is a vast collection of music dating back to the 1920's and I would love to see this music saved.
Do you members have any ideas on how I can convince them to make sure this music does not get lost in the sale? I am really worried that the new owner will not care for the music like the current owner does since it is the current owners personal collection. We all know that what one person loves, another thinks is garbage.
In the link below, it does state that the new owners will try to move the format of the Current KWXY station from FM to AM, but there is no guarantee the FCC will allow all the changes.

This collection is on old reel to reel tapes.
Any suggestions would be greatly apprectiated, wether posted here, PM or at www dot dorastandpipe dot blogspot dot com
Thank you everyone!
