Numbered Limited Golden Collection Box Sets...

Kinda interesting... I stepped into my local retailer on Friday and noticed on shelf a big gold colored box with an embossed picture of Bugs Bunny on the cover and a gold metal plate at the bottom with a listing of --/1000 (I think that was the run). It contained the first 5 volumes of the LTGC's and was priced around $300, I think.

Just in case people are behind on purchasing the sets, it might be a more affordable and easy way of picking 'em up... I'm not sure if this is a Canadian exclusive? Also, I noticed a promotional offer on the box for either $500 or $1,000 cash prizes hidden within select sets with a 1/500 chance of winning.

There's a box set at Costco for $149. Appears to be a cardboard box with room for one more.

These are different, they're packaged in a limited set with an embossed BB image on the cover along with the Warner Studio logo and the "Looney Tunes Golden Collections" title. They also have a gold metal plate at the bottom of the set with the respective numbering engraved for each box on shelf. Again, I believe the run is limited to either 500 or 1000, so no large abundance of these in stores.
