Which of Chuck Jones' last Road Runner cartoons (after Rudy Lariva took over the series) do you like the best?
I like Soup or Sonic the best.

Chariots of Fur.
I love how Jones still had ways to express the series 30 years after it's original completion, and how he was passing the craft onto the next animation generation. If there were more programs during the 90's involving young animators working with old animators, the industry today would be in much better shape.

I like Soup or Sonic's pipe gag and the resulting ending, but other than that I can't remember much about it. So I'm going to vote for Chariots of Fur, which was one of the better Looney Tunes shorts from the '90s.

Soup or Sonic is my favorite: In fact, it's the only one of these latter-day cartoons that left any kind of memory or impression on me! The pipe gag near the end was actually quite clever, but it struck me when re-watching these cartoons how plain they seemed in comparison to the theatrical classics that preceded them.

Definately Chariots Of Fur for me. The animation and music seem very much like the classic cartoons they starred it and even impressed me at how much "fresh blood" would learn by studying history. My fave piece of animation has to be the spring gag, timed lovingly to "Voices Of Spring"...which I just realised, by discovering the name, makes it even funnier! :D
