This was a very nice find today. Not only (with all due repsect to Mr. Magoo fans) the best animated adaptation of Dickens' tale by far, but one of the best screen versions of *any* type...and still the only one to win an Oscar.

Why on Earth isn't this on DVD?!!

From what I've found, it's part of the ABC Films library, which is owned by Disney. However, they licensed the entire library to MGM a few years ago. MGM's library (not the pre-1986 films now owned by Warner Bros.) is distributed by Fox right now.
