I've only had this on 16mm for a while, but it was nice to see this show up on YouTube uncensored. Beautifully animated (completely) by John Sibley.

What was censored from this film? The gunplay? The guide? What?

In short..... yes. For many years, the Disney Channel censored both the scenes with the Indian Guide blindly leading his hunting companion off a cliff (!) and the brief scene where the hunting rifle stares both Donald and his GrandPappy right in the face. They both duck just before it discharges at which point GrandPappy tells Donald, "Sonny, THAT was CLOSE!!!!!".

Wow, I haven't seen this cartoon in years! Disney's cartoons took a real wild turn in the 50's, and Sibley's animation really adds the enjoyment to this one. :)

I'm fairly certain that the shot of Donald shoehorning himself into the rapidly coming traffic is reused from 'Motor Mania".

That shot with [Whistler's] Mother looks lie it miht've come from Donald's Diary.

Yep, and the scene directly before that with Donald driving all over his front lawn and then onto the street was re-used from "Father's Day Off".

Yeah, but just as Disney cartoons started getting hilarious with really fun, oddball, random gags (what's Mother doing?)... they stopped making them. It's kind of frustrating.

As well as Bambi and his mum, "No Hunting" contains a brief cameo of Flannery from "Pigs is Pigs". I think there may also by some caricatures of Disney animators, but I've never paused to try and identify them.

Huh????? I've seen this cartoon many times and I've never noticed Flannery. Where is he?

He's a hot dog seller (at least I think it's him) if you watch the YouTube version, he appears at 2:20 minutes in.
