Mouse-taken identity is not exactly a Pepe le Pew short. :shame:

But good list, thanks!

My actual problem is Bugs Bunny. There are plenty left from the other characters (Daffy, Foggy, Sylvester etc.), but Bugs is nearly sold out. IMO Jerry and co. should consider risking to make a Golden Collection that doesn't have a dedicated disc to Bugs, only just scattering a few shorts here and there.:bugs2:

Mouse-taken identity is supposed to be a oneshot. I must've accidentally put it in Pepe's list.

Ummm..... Mouse-Taken Identity is not a one-shot either. It's a Sylvester the Cat/Hippety Hopper cartoon. :sylvester

Still plenty of stuff left. I think to prevent Bugs Bunny from running out too fast, they can just make a combined Bugs/Daffy or Bugs/Porky disc like they did for the latest GC.

You guys and your lists! :D

Honestly, I'm always impressed by the depth of whole-hearted fan interest and study here at GAC.

Just sayin', is all.

Keep up the good work!

I wish but there was still 12 Bugs cartoons on volume 5, they were some spread over disc 2 and 3 they should've just left it at half a disc and thats it.

Still plenty of stuff left.

There sure is, Boris. But a good portion are pre-1936 cartoons with characters the average DVD buyer doesn't know. Bugs they know. Daffy they know. Buddy? Buddy what? How do you market Buddy? No one liked him in 1935.

I can see one disk of a set being devoted to early black-and-whites, but I don't know how else you'd sell them.

I guess that is my biggest concern. We fans of animation know the more obscure toons and most of the older ones (pre-1940) as well. But how well will a set comprised of a large portion of these sell to the general public? There is so much great animation also that may never get released because it is so un-PC (Coal Black..., All This & Rabbit Stew, etc.) which is the real crime IMHO. The above two are genuine classics by two of the greatest animators of all time. I would also like to see more WWII inspired toons as well. Meaning the ones released to the general public not just the Snafu shorts.
