This tuesday, Sesame Street: Old School Volume 2 will be released, focusing on Sesame Street from 1974-1979. Included will be the season premiers from thsoe seasons, the very first test pilot, and 57 bonus segments. There have been reports at Muppet Central that copies have been found in some stores early. There should be a review at Muppet Central soon (hopefully before it coems out).

Muppet Wiki has a listing of all the bonus segments, and accoridng to Muppet Wiki, the only known edits on this set are the removal of a scene from the test pilot in which Bob reads Where the Wild Things Are, and the mention of that book as a sponsor at the end.

I am very excited, though it seems like the selection of bonus skits are more random than they were on the first set. The first set had a great mix of classics, rarely-seen skits, and random sketches (I guess not too rare, but not too commonly-shown, either). Many of the skits listed as bonus skits are ones that I am not familiar with, and there are some skits from this time period that I think of as "classic" which aren't included. Then again, I still don't know what was cut from Noggin's broadcast of four of the premiers, so some of these classics could have been cut on Noggin. Or maybe some more classic material replaces segments that are cut from both Noggin and this release (you never know if these sets will cut something shown on Noggin's broadcast).
