Sad news, Tom!
He went down swinging, though.
Don't forget his voice work in "Gay Puree" (if that's how it's spelled.)

He appeared as a cartoon character once, on The Simpsons.
He was in a several cartoons, J.J., though the "jingle bells" bit on The Simpsons was the best. He was in Toy Story 2 and he also appeared in Chuck Jones' insufferable Gay Purr-ee (I saw it on TV as a kid and turned off the set after about 15 minutes due to complete boredom).

He also served as Mikey's singing voice in the Disney cartoon, Recess.

And, hopefully, he and Elvis won't be duking it out in the afterlife (see description of Presley's TV Repair in the book, Elvis: What Happened?).

Not to mention his memorable role as the villain in Naked Gun 2 1/2. He will be missed.

He also appeared many times as himself on one of the 1980's best sitcoms - "Mr. Belvedere".

A little late...
I'm saddened that Bob Goulet died, he really wasn't that old!
BUT it's even more sad that he died while waiting for lung-transplant:(
(I had a friend who died while awaiting a heart transplant so I can relate...).
I still see Goulet as he appeared on seemingly countless variety shows and even talk-shows long, long ago (and in a forgotten TV series called "Blue Light"). And in Weird Al's video "You Don't Love Me Anymore":D And of course his classic-cartoon connection as Judy Garland's leading-man (okay leading male-feline:p) in "Gay Purr-ee".
Farewell Jean Tom!

I never tire of watching "Gay Purr-ee." (It was one of the first animated
features that I taped on Beta and later transferred to VHS.) Excellent cast,
very good songs and a good storyline. And I liked Gold Key's comic book
adaptation, too (by Pete Alvarado), which even included two new back-up
stories of Robepierre and Jaune Tom & Mewsette. Very cute cartoon and a
great soundtrack album, by the way.
