This (http://www.savetube.com) website lets you save youtube videos on your computer.
In order to play the vidoes, you need to download and install an FLV player, such as this (http://www.download.com/3000-2139_4-10755750.html) one.

I use Download Helper for Firefox. And I figured out what went wrong with it. All I had to do was change the directory to where my vids were being stored.

I prefer RealPlayer 11's "download video" feature. When you hover your cursor over a YouTube video, a Download button pops up and all you have to do is click it. Very convenient.
